Summer events in Ełk

Here are the most interesting events:
- Gwiazda Mazurska (The Masurian Star) Cycling Race - 3rd to 6th of June hundreds of bicycle fans from all over the country will meet in Ełk to take part in a marathon race for amateurs.
- TĘCZA (The Rainbow) International Children's and Youth Folk Festival - surely one of most colorful and amazing events, organized every year in Ełk. Among the Festival's guests are groups from many cultures and places in the world. It takes place between 24th and 27th June.
- Festiwal Ogień i Woda (Fire and Water Festival) - street performers, fire dancers and water sports will meet in Ełk on 16th and 17th of July. Main event is a night fire show competition.
- Mazurskie Zawody Balonowe (Masurian Ballooning Competition) - this is an excellent opportunity to view amazing Masurian landscapes from above. Between 5th and 8th of August more than 50 balloon crews from Poland and abroad will fly on Masurian sky!
